When it comes to reading, I'm an omnivore; I like it all.  My husband enjoys a much more focused approach.  Things need to blow up, get bloody or be full of intrigue to keep him turning the pages.  This book came from his collection, so it came as no surprise that it is a thriller, including spies, explosions and ... well, don't let me give away everything!  Suffice to say that I've just discovered that this is the last in a cycle of three novels, and I'm already looking for the first two, The English Assassin and The Confessor.  I concur with The Miami Herald's assessment:  "A masterfully constructed tale of memory and revenge.  It demonstrates that thrillers can be more than entertainment."

LAMB:  The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore.  An interesting and entertaining perspective on "the greatest story ever told."

Same Kind of Different As Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore with Lynn Vincent - A modern-day slave, an international art dealer, and the unlikely woman who bound them together.  A New York Times Bestseller and Amazing True Story.  A dangerous, homeless drifter who grew up picking cotton in virtual slavery.  An upscale art dealer accustomed to the world of Armani and Chanel.  A gutsy woman with a stubborn dream.  A story so incredible no novelist would dare dream it.
